01
The main bosses in Peppino's campaign
This overview follows Peppino's campaign. It contains boss-name spoilers, including the final encounter. The Noise campaign changes the third encounter to The Doise and also changes how the playable character attacks.
| Encounter | Boss | First learning goal |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Pepperman | Dodge the charge and recognize the recovery opening. |
| 2 | The Vigilante | Learn the gun-based fight and the final draw. |
| 3 | The Noise | Wait for the attack sequence to end before committing. |
| 4 | Fake Peppino | Recognize his movement patterns and prepare for the chase. |
| Final | Pizzaface | Learn each phase separately. |
Do not apply a Peppino-specific attack input to the Noise campaign without checking the character's tutorial and the current fight.
02
Pepperman: let the charge create an opening
Pepperman charges across the arena. Avoid the charge, then attack during the recovery instead of running directly into an active attack. Later parts add hazards and faster pressure, so keep watching the arena even when you know the next boss move.
For a useful practice attempt, focus on one charge sequence. Name the moment that caused a hit: the approach, the turnaround, the landing, or the attack you attempted afterward. That gives your next try a specific purpose.
03
Vigilante and Noise: avoid rushing the finish
Peppino's Vigilante battle uses a gun. Practice dodging projectiles and finding time to fire without treating the encounter as a normal Grab fight. The ending includes a draw sequence: wait for the game's cue rather than firing early.
The Noise mixes different attack tools and changes his behavior in the later phase. An apparent pause is not always the end of the sequence. Give the last movement room to finish, then approach when he is actually vulnerable. Staying alive long enough to observe the second phase is a productive first goal.
04
Fake Peppino and the final encounter
Fake Peppino imitates and distorts Peppino's movement. Learn one attack pattern at a time and keep space to react. The encounter ends with a chase, so do not relax as soon as the arena battle looks finished.
The Pizzaface encounter has multiple phases. In its opening phase, enemies can be thrown upward into Pizzaface to create an opening. Treat later phases as separate exercises: reaching them consistently is the first milestone, and a clean full fight comes afterward.

How boss P ranks work
For ordinary ranked boss fights, finish without being hit. You do not need the regular level's score, Secret Eyes, treasure, or Lap 2 requirements. A safe dodge is often a better practice choice than an unfamiliar parry.
The final Pizzaface fight does not give a normal displayed boss rank. Its related no-hit Chef Task is a different completion goal. The Crumbling Tower of Pizza is an escape level after that encounter, not another boss fight.
For preparation, review controls and parrying. For score-based level attempts, use the separate P-rank checklist.
Questions
What players ask
Does the normal level P-rank checklist apply to bosses?
No. Ranked boss fights require a no-damage victory. Their goals do not include Secret Eyes, treasure, or Lap 2.
Why does the final fight show no P-rank result?
Pizzaface does not display a normal boss rank. Its related Chef Task is a separate completion goal.
